A comprehensive exam is the foundation of everything we do. It is designed to take the time a thorough evaluation needs, so nothing gets missed.
It starts with listening
Your visit begins with a full hour. You meet with one of our hygienists, and we take time to hear your concerns, your goals and your health history before we look at a single tooth.
What we evaluate
We look at the full picture, not just cavities:
Oral health: teeth, gums, bite and the soft tissues of the mouth.
Airway and sleep: signs of snoring or nighttime breathing concerns.
Your aesthetic goals: what you would like to change about your smile.
A clearer diagnosis
We combine advanced imaging with a thoughtful clinical review to understand what is really happening. Digital imaging lets us see more, and we explain what we find in plain language.
A long-term plan
After the exam we build a plan around you, with clear explanations and shared decisions about your care. It is not patch dentistry. The plan is followed over time, so your care stays on track.
